Theatre Vote — live audience response
What we collect: nothing personal. When you join a session your browser generates a random participant identifier, held in this browser for the session only. We store your votes and any text you submit against that random identifier — never a name, email address, or device fingerprint.
Retention: all session data — votes, text submissions, participant identifiers — is automatically and permanently deleted 24 hours after the session's last activity. Submissions rejected by the profanity filter are kept for at most 24 hours solely to support abuse response, then purged.
Exports: presenters can export anonymised tallies and text submissions. Exports contain no participant identifiers.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — running a live, anonymous audience-response activity at an event you are attending.
